Visionary spiritual teacher and consciousness researcher Jenny Martin, Ed.D is reshaping our understanding of western religion as rooted in the teachings of ancient alchemy. Her groundbreaking work stems from decades of research into non-ordinary states of consciousness, biophysics and ancient wisdom, specifically the first alchemist known as Mary the Jewess (aka Mary Magdalene).
Dr. Jenny has a doctorate in counseling psychology and is a distinctive voice in the psychedelic community. She has been featured on notable platforms like “The Psychedelic Podcast” by ThirdWave and key media outlets like DoubleBlind. Her work has been recognized at prominent events, such as the Wonderland Conference in Miami, Florida, where she sat on the first “Sex and Psychedelics” panel, and online at the inaugural Women’s Health and Psychedelics Summit, cohosted by the Dysphoric Project and Co-Heal International.
Dr. Jenny has designed an online curriculum uniquely focused on teaching people to activate their bodies’ natural psychedelics through sexual intimacy. For well over a decade, her pioneering programs the Psychedelic Cervix Course, Psychedelic Sex for Couples, and the Psychedelic Cervix and Childbirth, have empowered women and couples to explore mystical awareness through pleasure. Steeped in science and inspired by early alchemical erotic rituals, these courses guide participants to discover sex as a spiritual practice. Graduates of the Psychedelic Cervix Practitioner Program, her training program for professionals, include naturopathic doctors, nurse practitioners, physical therapists, acupuncturists, marriage and family therapists, massage therapists, and sexuality educators.
As an influential educator for interfaith communities, Dr. Jenny’s work has been featured at the American Psychological Association’s Mid-Year Conference on Religion and Spirituality and the Urantia Foundation’s Science Symposium. She has been invited to speak in person at Unity churches and to online communities honoring the sacred feminine, such as Magdalene.org.
As host of the “Why Didn’t I Know” podcast, Dr. Jenny is comfortable challenging conventional thinking on sex, science, and Spirit. On her Substack blog, she dives deep into big questions, such as the role of sexual pleasure in the evolution of consciousness.
